Pangkor Island
Situated just off the west coast of Perak in Peninsular Malaysia is one
of the most enchanting islands you'll ever come across. Visitors will be charmed
by the serenity of her fishing villages, her small but bustling towns and natural
scenery of the green hills and palm-friged beaches of fine white sand lapped by
the warm blue waters of the Straits of Malacca.
Pangkor Island measures about approximately 8 square miles and has a population
of about 23,000 people comprising mostly fisherman. Pangkor is also one of the biggest
fish suppliers in Peninsular Malaysia.
